Introduction
Welcome to Quanata. We are a solution development and services company operating in California. This Privacy Statement describes how we collect, protect, use, and share customer information in connection with our products and services, such as mobile applications and software.
When you purchase or use any products or services made available by Quanata, the information collected, used, and shared is governed by this Privacy Statement.
Information We Collect and How
Quanata may collect both personal and non-personal information about you. Personal information is information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked (directly or indirectly) with you. Non-personal information does not reveal an individual’s identity such as information that has been de-identified or aggregated.
Please note that the type and amount of personal information collected from or about you will differ based on the products, features, and services you use, your relationship withQuanata, and the jurisdiction in which the products, features and services are provided.
We may collect the following categories of personal information:
1. Identifiers such as a real name, postal address, unique personal identifier, online identifier, Internet Protocol address, email address, phone number.
2. Personal Records such as physical characteristics or description, signature, telephone number, insurance policy number, or financial information.
3. Classifications such as sex, marital status, familial status, and gender.
4. Commercial Information such as personal property records, products or services purchased, obtained, or considered, or other purchasing or consuming histories or tendencies.
5. Internet Usage Information such as browsing history, search history, and information regarding your interaction with a website, application, or advertisement.
6. Geolocation Data such as precise physical location or movements and travel patterns.
7. Sensory Data such as audio recordings of customer care calls, electronic, visual or similar information.
8. Professional or Employment Information such as employment history.
9. Education Information such as education level.
10. Inferences from personal information collected such as creating a profile about a consumer reflecting the consumer's preferences, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior, attitudes, intelligence, abilities and aptitudes.
We collect personal and non-personal information in different ways, including:
• From your use of websites and mobile applications we operate (e.g., Superfocus, HiRoad), interactions with our social media sites and third-party applications, and interactions with online advertisements.
• From your transactions or experiences with us, such as payments, customer support interactions, and/or application usage.
• The information you choose to provide to us, such as personal contact information when you fill out a form or register for an account.
• From non-affiliated third-party sources for marketing, analytics, and personalization purposes.
How We Protect Customer Information
We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your information. We maintain physical, digital, and procedural safeguards to protect information. We contractually require any person or organization providing products or services on our behalf to protect Quanata information. In addition, we regularly review our policies and practices, monitor our systems and networks, and assess the posture of our security and privacy program.
We retain information to provide customer support, as well as for legal, auditing, regulatory, and business purposes, in compliance with relevant laws and regulations applicable to the products and services provided by Quanata.
How We Use Customer Information
We use customer information to:
• Provide our mobile applications and services to you, and allow you to access and use them.
• Communicate with you, including to confirm your identity and service your accounts.
• Protect against fraud and unauthorized transactions.
• Enhance your customer experience and develop and improve our products and services.
• Offer you other Quanata products and services.
• Offer you access to products and services from Quanata affiliates.
• Perform other activities as required or permitted by law.
• Perform analytics and measurement to understand how certain services are used, how certain services perform, and for consumer trends.
Additionally, we use information to develop either anonymized data or de-identified data by making reasonable efforts to remove any identifying information so the information is no longer personally identifiable information. We develop this data for business purposes such as analysis to understand more about customers and users, industry trends, or for other commercial purposes.
How We Share Customer Information
We share information, including information about our transactions with you (such as payments) and experiences with you, with our affiliated companies including, but not limited to, HiRoad Assurance Company and State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company. We share information with affiliated companies and with non-affiliated companies:
• For our everyday business purposes to support our customers.
• As permitted and as required by law and regulation.
• In connection with a proposed or actual sale, merger, transfer, or exchange of all or a portion of our business or operating unit to an affiliate or non-affiliate.
• As needed to protect against fraud or unauthorized transactions.
• That perform marketing or similar services for promoting our products and services.
• In connection with the investigation, establishment, and defense of legal rights.
Please note that this Privacy Statement does not apply to HiRoad Assurance Company or State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company which have their own privacy notices.
Do Not Track Disclosure
Some web browsers offer a “Do Not Track” feature which sends a signal to websites you visit which indicates you do not wish to be tracked. Quanata’s websites are not designed to respond to these signals. However, you have other options to control tracking, as outlined in the “Your Choices and Controls” section below.
Your Choices and Controls
You can use some Quanata services without creating an account, purchasing our products or services, or otherwise submitting information like your name or email address to us. You can also limit the information you share with third-parties while using our products and services, for example by choosing not to use Google or Facebook authentication.
We offer you choices about the types of marketing you may receive from us. For example, we may provide settings in our apps which you can use to specify your marketing preferences, and we will include unsubscribe options in marketing emails we send.
Please note these choices will not apply to mandatory communications related to Quanata services, such as important account-related notices.
Additionally, Quanata uses third-party analytics and advertising companies to provide services to you on our platform, such as ads tailored to your preferences. If you don’t want to take advantage of these services, you may be able to opt-out of some of them by visitinghttps://youradchoices.com or https://optout.networkadvertising.org.
You also have the option to disable third-party cookies within your web browser. When using a web browser to access Quanata products or services, your browser provides controls to prevent, manage, and delete cookies, as well as manage other similar technologies such as JavaScript or Flash. Please note that if you disable cookies and other settings, certain website features may not function properly, including mechanisms used to honor advertising opt-out choices.
To Limit the Sharing of Information by and between Our Affiliates
We share customer information with our affiliates as described above. If you prefer to limit the sharing of certain types of information, such as application data, please send an email to privacy@quanata.com with your request and a Quanata privacy representative will assist you in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Residents of California
If you are a resident of California, please see our California Consumer Privacy Notice for rights that may be afforded to you under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
Residents of Nevada
Nevada law requires us to disclose that you may elect to be placed on our internal “do not call” list should you wish not to receive marketing calls from Quanata. If you have already been placed on our internal “do not call” list please disregard this notice. You may request to be placed on Quanata’s internal “do not call” list by sending an email to privacy@quanata.com or writing to us at the following address:

Additionally, Nevada law requires that Nevada residents have the ability to opt out of the future sale of your information regardless of whether an entity actually sells information. If you do not want Quanata to sell your information in the future, you may opt out of the sale of your information by sending an email to privacy@quanata.com or writing to us at the address above.
